Perks of a Disney Wedding

1.) Wedding Weekends Are a Go!

Like with most destination weddings, couples are looking to make their nuptials a week/weekend long experience. Planning a huge group vacation with lots of fun activates and events (HELLO you’re at Disney!) and then ending the weekend out with your ceremony is a really appealing concept to couples.

2.) Lots of venues!

Another awesome perk for getting married at Disney is that there are a ton of venues and resorts to have everything from your bachelorette/bachelor party to your rehearsal dinner! What’s even cooler is that Disney has 11 internationally pavilions in their Epcot park. If you’ve always dreamed of a Moroccan wedding but can’t afford to send your entire family, you can get married at the Moroccan pavilion for half the price and all of the beauty!

4.) Quick Turn-A-Round!

Depending on availability you can start planning your big day as early as 16 months and as late as THREE WEEKS!

5.) Disney Wedding Planner to the Rescue!

When you decide to book a wedding with Disney you get your own personal fairy godmother in an expert Disney wedding planner. After determining your budget, wedding date, and venue your wedding planner will help bring your vision to life!

6.) Disney Themed or Just Disney Located

Another cool thing about having a Disney wedding is you have the option to have a Disney themed wedding with castle wedding cakes, saying “I Do” in front of Cinderella’s Castle or even arrive in Cinderella’s coach. On the opposite end of the spectrum, you can have a “Disney Fairy Tale Wedding” without a single pair of mouse ears or Disney reference in sight because of the number of different venues they have both are common options.

Disney Wedding Costs

The moment we’ve all been waiting for! How much does it cost to have a Disney Fairytale wedding? Well, the short answer is, it depends. Like with any ceremony the number of guests, venue, catering, etc all play an important role in determining the cost but most weddings start at $5000. The pricing typically begins with the wedding venue FEES and that price is sorted based on the day of the week and time of day you plan to marry. At the top of the venue list is in front of the Magic Kingdom Castle after the park closes which can range anywhere from $20,000 to $50,000 minimum. The good news is that the venue fees or event minimums means that any additional elements such as entertainment, food, décor, etc all go towards that venue fee!

No matter where you plan to have your Disney Fairytale Wedding the key to having a magical wedding is having it at Disney!
